Our "Pick you Own Peony" evenings offer an up close and personal tour of the farm. If you ever wanted to see what it takes to run a peony farm, here is your chance.
You will be guided through all areas of of the farm to pick your own stems. This is a guided evening where you can talk to one of the pickers throughout the hour. Learn what we look for in different varieties, why we don't cut all the stems off, how we process them for export and much more.
What's the difference between "Pick Your Own" and a "Fill Ya Bucket"? Our PYO events are quality over quantity. You get to go through areas that we are still picking for export, learn more about the farm and be guided through with one of the owners. The FYB events only take you through one variety and are only after we have picked for export quality.
At the end of a PYO evening, you will have cut and bunched your own stems to take home with you to enjoy.
Sessions are available Wednesday - Sunday throughout the season.
You must book to secure your spot. Spaces may be available on the day but not guaranteed.
20 high quality stems per person.
Limit of 10 people per evening.
Run time is 6pm til 7pm.
Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time.
Price is per person and spaces are reserved for people wanting the full experience.
All equipment is provided.
Please wear covered shoes. You will not be able to move around the property if you do not have covered footwear.
Variety(s) to be picked will be based on the time of season and the needs of the farm. It is not guaranteed you will be picking a variety even if we are.
