This year we are offering "Pick you Own Peony" evenings. If you ever wanted to be a part of what we do during the season, here is your chance.
You will be taken through a section of the farm to pick your own stems. This is a guided evening where you can talk to one of the pickers throughout the hour. Learn what we look for for different varieties, why we don't cut all the stems off, how we process them for export and much more. If you have a question we can not answer... we will add it to the list!
At the end you will have cut and bunched your own stems to take home with you to enjoy.
Sessions are available Wednesday - Sunday throughout the season.
You must book to secure your spot. Spaces may be available on the day but not guaranteed.
20 stems per person.
Limit of 10 people per evening.
Run time is 6pm til 7pm.
Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time.
Price is per person and spaces are reserved for people wanting the full experience.
All equipment is provided.
Please wear covered shoes. You will not be able to move around the property if you do not have covered footwear.
Variety(s) to be picked will be based on the time of season and the needs of the farm. It is not guaranteed you will be picking a variety if we are.
Available stems are semi-open to open. You will not be picking what we cut for export.
Suitable for ages 15 and up.
