Avalanche is a striking, crisp white double peony that appears as though its innermost petal tips have been delicately dipped in pink or cochineal red icing sugar. As the massive, multi-petaled head unfolds, these subtle red accents create a soft blush contrast against the snow-white background.
A mid-season bloomer, Avalanche grows on sturdy stems ranging from 45 cm to 60 cm. Because white varieties are sensitive to environmental weather marks, every stem undergoes strict inspection to ensure only flawless buds enter the selection. It serves as a versatile mixer alongside deep reds like Red Charm and Command Performance.
