We are anticipating that our Pick Your Own sessions are going to start from 1 November, subject to the farm's start date. The flowers decide, and they don't give notice.
We set the day's status by 9am. If you're travelling a distance, check the field status on this page or our Instagram stories before you set off.
Pre Pay online OR pay at the farm shop when you arrive.
Children are welcome and must be supervised at all times — at least one adult per child in the picking field.

Bring your own clean snips if you can, and something to carry your flowers home in. Bucket hire is free at check-in while you're picking, and you can take a bucket home for $5.
Staff instructions are followed at all times. You pick it, you keep it — anyone dropping, discarding or throwing cut stems on the ground will be asked to leave, with no discussion and no refund.
We only open up certain varieties once we've finished picking that variety for export. We will keep it open based on growth - closing it again when the plants need to rest and set new buds or if the weather is not suitable for picking. That's why picking days change throughout the season rather than running straight through it.
Best way to know if it is open - We watch the crop every day and will update the PYO status at the top of the website.
FYB is not currently planned... it will be a late addition IF we do. The Pick Your Own has taken its place, and the change was a deliberate one.
Fill Ya Bucket packed everything into a single day and a set time slot. Pick Your Own offers a chance to pick over more of the season, Wednesday to Sunday, so there is more time in the rows and a gentler pace through the field. Peonies set next year's buds off this year's growth, so a steadier rhythm of picking is what keeps the plants strong and the blooms coming back.
The bucket itself has not gone anywhere - just changed. You can fill one with up to 30 stems on any open picking day, and you can pre pay before you come or pay at the farm shop when you arrive. We have also opened up the opportunity to Pay Per Stem. Picking days, hours and pricing are all on this page.
Not picking? The farm shop has pre-cut stems, made-up arrangements and styled flowers. Visit the Farm.
